Privacy Policy

My IQ Score(“we”) operates this IQ-style cognitive quiz for entertainment and educational purposes. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@myiqscore.app. For GDPR purposes we are the data controller for the information described below.

• Quiz data: the answers you select, how long you spend on each question, and the scores we compute (raw, weighted, percentile and the IQ-style estimate). On its own this is not personally identifying.
• Email address — only if you choose to give it. If an email step is shown, we store the address you submit and link it to that quiz result. You can use the quiz without providing one.

Analytics & advertising data. We use analytics and ad-measurement tools that set or read cookies (such as _ga, _fbp and _fbc) and may receive your IP address, device/browser information, and the pages and actions you take — plus a hashed version of your email if you submit one. See Analytics & advertising below.

To improve the quiz and to measure and optimise our advertising, we share limited event data with:

• Google Analytics 4 — page views and funnel events (for example, quiz started and completed), using cookies such as _ga.
• Meta (Facebook) Conversions API — funnel and conversion events, with identifiers such as _fbp/_fbc, your IP address and user-agent, and a hashed (SHA-256) email address when available. The email is hashed before it is sent.
• ClickMagick — click attribution for our ad campaigns.

We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the Service and our advertising (and on your consent where the law requires it). You can limit this with your browser’s cookie controls or a privacy extension, or by contacting us to object. We do not sell your personal data.

• Legitimate interest — to score your test, and to build aggregate, anonymous norms so percentiles become meaningful over time.
• Consent — where you actively submit your email, we process it on the basis of the consent you give at that step. You can withdraw it at any time (see Your rights).

Quiz results are stored in a managed Postgres database (Neon) and the site is hosted on Vercel. Analytics and advertising event data is processed by Google and Meta (see Analytics & advertising), and click attribution by ClickMagick. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers in the United States. We do not sell your data. If you configure an email/webhook integration, submitted emails are also sent to that destination.

Anonymous quiz results are retained to maintain the scoring norms. Email addresses are kept until you ask us to delete them or until they are no longer needed for the purpose you provided them.

Under the GDPR (and similar laws) you can request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent or object to processing. Because results are largely anonymous, please include the email address you submitted so we can locate your record. Email privacy@myiqscore.app and we will respond within the timeframe the law requires. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

This quiz is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Results are an entertainment and educational estimate only — not a clinically validated IQ test and not a medical, psychological or diagnostic assessment.

We may update this policy; we will revise the “last updated” date above when we do.
